
Secretary-General of the China Atomic Energy Agency (CAEA), Huang Ping, has reaffirmed China’s commitment to deepening its strategic partnership with GCC countries and boosting cooperation in peaceful nuclear energy.
His remarks came during talks with Kuwait’s Ambassador to China, Jassim Al-Najem, ahead of the First Gulf-China Forum on the Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy, set for April 21 in Chengdu, according to Al-Jarida daily.
Ambassador Al-Najem praised China’s global efforts in promoting peaceful nuclear energy and highlighted the importance of future collaboration.
The five-day forum will focus on political dialogue, expertise exchange, and building long-term partnerships. It will also feature participation from the International Atomic Energy Agency, research centers, and global nuclear energy experts.
