Kuwait braces for strong winds, dust storms, and high waves today

The Meteorology Department has issued an official weather advisory warning of strong northwesterly winds expected to exceed 55 km/h today, August 3, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

According to the advisory, these winds are likely to stir up dust, causing reduced visibility in some areas and raising sea waves to heights exceeding 6 feet, reports Al-Jarida daily.

The department urged citizens and residents — particularly beachgoers and those in open areas — to remain cautious and take the necessary safety precautions during the warning period.
