Kuwait braces for scorching weekend weather; dust expected across country

The Meteorological Department has forecast extremely hot weather during the daytime and hot to warm nights over the weekend due to the impact of the Indian seasonal low and a dry air mass.

Acting Director Dharar Al-Ali stated that daytime highs will range between 46°C and 50°C, with northwesterly winds up to 50 km/h causing dust, especially in open areas. Sea conditions may also be rough at times.

Today’s weather will be very hot and relatively humid in coastal areas, with light to moderate winds and the chance of scattered clouds and dust storms.

Nighttime weather will remain hot throughout the weekend, with temperatures ranging from 31°C to 35°C. Winds will stay light to moderate, with the sea occasionally seeing waves of up to 6 feet.
