Kuwait-Bahrain match hits 1.2 million ticket requests in just five minutes

Sheikh Ahmed Al-Yousef Al-Sabah expressed his appreciation for the Kuwaiti audience, describing them as the “number one player” in Azraq’s matches and emphasized his confidence in the teams ability to delight the fans and advance to the tournament final.

Sheikh Ahmed Al-Yousef Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Football Association’s Board of Directors, announced that ticket requests for the Kuwait vs. Bahrain match ahead of the 26th Gulf Cup final, “Khaleeji Zain 26,” exceeded 1.2 million within the first five minutes of availability. He noted that the organizing company received 210,000 applications in the initial minutes, with each application requesting six tickets, totaling over 1.2 million tickets, as reported by Q8-Press.

Al-Yousef added that officials from the company responsible for managing bookings for major international football championships, including the Champions League, expressed their surprise at the unprecedented number of requests they received during this event.

He also expressed his appreciation for the Kuwaiti audience, describing them as the number one player in Azraqs matches. He emphasized his confidence in the team’s ability to delight the fans and advance to the tournament final.
