Kuwait, Bahamas sign MoUs to boost political, economic cooperation

Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the UN and Non-Resident Ambassador to the Bahamas, Tariq Al-Bannai, signed two memoranda of understanding with the Bahamas on Tuesday in Nassau.
The first MoU establishes a mechanism for bilateral political consultations between the foreign ministries, enabling regular diplomatic meetings to discuss political, economic, cultural, and consular matters.
The second MoU focuses on economic and technical cooperation, covering areas such as investment, trade, tourism, infrastructure, communications, and education, with a joint committee overseeing implementation, reports Al-Jarida daily.
Ambassador Al-Bannai highlighted that the agreements reflect the commitment of both countries’ leaderships to strengthen relations, expand cooperation, and promote sustainable development.
