As part of her participation in the United Nations Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice meetings in Vienna, Kuwait’s Assistant Foreign Minister for Human Rights Affairs, Ambassador Sheikha Jawaher Al-Sabah, paid a visit to the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna.
During the visit, Ambassador Sheikha Jawaher held talks with Ambassador Emil Brix, Director of the Academy, to explore avenues for academic cooperation. The discussions focused on the potential for organizing joint workshops and specialized training courses aimed at promoting women’s empowerment in the field of diplomacy.
In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Ambassador Sheikha Jawaher emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Austria, especially as the two countries mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties.
She praised the depth of historical relations between Kuwait and Austria and highlighted the mutual commitment to enhancing cooperation across various sectors, including diplomacy, education, and human rights.
