Kuwait Association launches integrated programs to boost sustainability and service quality

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwaiti Association for Needy Families, Eng. Bader Hamad Al-Mubarak, announced the launch of a new phase in the association’s work — shifting from traditional individual projects to a comprehensive, program-based model.
The goal is to establish a modern framework for charitable work that promotes sustainability and improves the quality of services provided to needy families in Kuwait.
Al-Mubarak explained that this strategic shift reflects the association’s evolving vision and its alignment with current social and economic developments, reports Al-Rai daily.
A detailed study of the realities and needs of families led to the creation of four key programs — the Kuwaiti Debtors Assistance Program, the Lump-Sum Assistance and Sponsorship Program, the Food Security Program, and the Education Program.
Together, these initiatives aim to move beyond temporary aid by empowering families and fostering self-reliance.
He emphasized that the association’s new approach is based on data-driven priorities and an economic policy designed to raise low-income families to the middle class.
Modern evaluation and monitoring mechanisms have also been implemented to measure social impact and ensure the effectiveness of the programs.
Al-Mubarak noted that the programs not only address basic needs but also focus on capacity building, skill development, and raising community awareness among families, students, and youth.
Efforts are also directed toward strengthening Kuwait’s food security system to ensure that every beneficiary enjoys a dignified and food-secure life.
He added that the association seeks to promote a culture of social solidarity and national responsibility through its new program structure, enhancing community partnerships to ensure sustainability and keep pace with global trends aimed at improving living standards for needy families.
Concluding his remarks, Al-Mubarak stated, “The Kuwaiti Association for Needy Families is no longer just an organization that helps — it has become a national platform for social innovation and sustainable development. We invite everyone in Kuwait to take part in this vital phase, which embodies the spirit of generosity and solidarity within our society.”
