Kuwait arrests illegal resident with 1,500 bottles of imported alcohol
The suspect, along with the seized items valued at KD 100,000, was transferred to the appropriate authorities for further legal proceedings.
The Criminal Security Sector, through the General Department for Combating Narcotics, apprehended an illegal resident found with a large stash of imported alcohol, reported Arabic daily Al Rai.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that investigations and field surveillance led to the arrest of the suspect, who was found with approximately 1,500 bottles of imported alcohol, valued at over KD 100,000. Additionally, a sum of money suspected to be proceeds from his alcohol trafficking activities was seized.
The suspect and the confiscated items were handed over to the relevant authorities for further legal action.
