Kuwait Army advances biometric fingerprint project to boost discipline and efficiency

Deputy Chief of Staff Major General Pilot Sabah Al-Jaber went on inspection tour on Wednesday of a newly established multi-purpose building dedicated to the biometric fingerprint project for army personnel.
The visit was to review the activation procedures, implementation mechanisms, and steps required to update data of soldiers.
Al-Jaber stressed the importance of precision, discipline, and timely completion of the project, underscoring its role in ensuring accurate attendance and departure, enhancing job discipline, and strengthening administrative efficiency across all army units, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to an army statement, the biometric fingerprint system will complete the digital database of all personnel before its official activation.
This initiative forms part of the Chief of Staff’s broader plan to adopt advanced technical systems that improve performance and modernize the work environment within the armed forces.
Al-Jaber reaffirmed the army’s commitment to integrating cutting-edge technologies to support operational development and foster a disciplined, efficient, and well-organized military structure.
