Kuwait appoints 95 inspectors to enhance labor market oversight

The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) held a special ceremony to swear in 95 new labor inspectors, attended by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Youssef Saud Al-Sabah highlighting the crucial role of inspectors in establishing justice and boosting confidence in Kuwait’s labor market.
During the event, he praised the integrity and commitment of the inspectors, calling them a “fundamental pillar” for ensuring fairness and efficiency in oversight of the labor market, reports Al-Rai daily.
He also reaffirmed the state’s full support for their continued work.
During the ceremony PAM emphasized on the vital role of the inspectors in regulating the labor market, safeguarding the rights of workers and employers, and promoting safe workplace practices.
The inspectors from the National Center for Occupational Health and Safety were also recognized for advancing compliance with international labor standards.
This initiative reflects Kuwait’s ongoing commitment to strengthening labor market governance and ensuring a fair and safe environment for all stakeholders.
