Kuwait and Turkey hold high-level talks at Bayan Palace to strengthen bilateral cooperation

Official talks between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Turkey were held this afternoon at Bayan Palace, with His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah leading the Kuwaiti delegation and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan heading the Turkish side.

The talks were attended by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and senior officials from both nations.



Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah highlighted that the discussions focused on reviewing the strong bilateral relations between Kuwait and Turkey, exploring ways to enhance and expand cooperation across various fields, and advancing initiatives that serve the shared interests of both countries. The leaders also exchanged views on key issues of mutual concern and the latest developments on regional and international levels.

During the talks, His Highness the Amir and President Erdogan witnessed the signing of several memoranda of understanding and agreements aimed at strengthening collaboration in multiple sectors. The ceremony underscored the commitment of both countries to deepen their partnership.

In a symbolic gesture, the Turkish President presented His Highness the Amir with an electric TOGG car, reflecting both goodwill and the shared interest in sustainable technologies.

The discussions were conducted in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, reflecting the longstanding ties and mutual understanding between Kuwait and Turkey. Both sides expressed a strong desire to continue building on their existing cooperation and enhancing strategic partnerships at all levels.
