Kuwait and Italy forge stronger ties through bilateral discussions

Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef praised the strong relations between Kuwait and Yemen, highlighting their commitment to enhancing cooperation, especially in security, and discussing various regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Kuwait and Italy reviewed ways to develop strong bilateral relations and strengthen cooperation in various fields, as well as exchanged views on several issues of mutual interest.

Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef emphasized the ongoing commitment of Kuwait and Mauritania to strengthen relations, especially in security, and highlighted the importance of mutual visits for enhancing cooperation and addressing challenges.

 

Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, the Acting Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, welcomed Lieutenant General Ibrahim Haidan, the Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Yemen, at Bayan Palace. The meeting was attended by Yemen’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Ali bin Safa, and the accompanying delegation, during the minister’s official visit to the country, as reported by Al Rai newspaper.

Al-Yousef praised the brotherly relations between Kuwait and Yemen, emphasizing the commitment of both countries to strengthen cooperation in all fields, particularly in security. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and cooperation in security, as well as reviewing several regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Al-Yousef also received Mohamed Ahmed Al-Amin, the Minister of Interior, Decentralization, and Local Development of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, in the presence of H. E. Mohamed Al-Amin Ould Cheikh, the Mauritanian Ambassador to Kuwait, and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his official visit to the country.

Al-Yousef stressed the constant commitment of both countries to develop relations in all fields, particularly in security, highlighting the importance of mutual visits between the nations to enhance security cooperation and address current and future challenges.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between Kuwait and Mauritania and explored areas of cooperation in the security field, in addition to reviewing several regional and international issues of common interest.

Additionally, the Acting Prime Minister received H.E. Lorenzo Morini, the Ambassador of the friendly Republic of Italy to Kuwait.

During their meeting, they reviewed ways to develop strong bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and strengthen cooperation in various fields, as well as exchanged views on several issues of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by Abdulaziz Al-Dakhil, President of the Prime Minister’s Cabinet; Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, Minister of Public Works; Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al-Meshaal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense; and Major General Pilot Sheikh Sabah Al-Jaber, Deputy Chief of Staff.
