Sheikh Fahad Al-Youssef, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, has issued Decision No. 11 of 2024, a source at the Public Authority for Manpower disclosed to Al-Anba newspaper.

This decision amends certain provisions of the General Authority for Manpower’s Decision No. 842 of 2015 regarding the transfer of manpower between employers. Notably, it also cancels Decision No. 1809 of 2023, which prohibited the transfer of labor from the government sector to the private sector without a university qualification.

The source indicated that all workers in the government sector can benefit from the transfer decision, even if they are over the age of 60. It noted that this decision aims to leverage various experiences in the labor market, whether in technical or other fields, contributing positively to market development and allowing for the utilization of labor already present in the country.
