Kuwait Airways announced on Sunday the arrival of 158 citizens from Manchester, United Kingdom, via Dammam Airport in Saudi Arabia. The airline’s acting CEO, Abdulwahab Al-Shatti, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the flight operation was conducted in close coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the General Authority of Civil Aviation, and other relevant authorities, reflecting the company’s ongoing efforts to ensure the safe return of citizens amid the current regional circumstances.

Al-Shatti explained that the airline continues to mobilize all its operational capabilities and staff to facilitate citizen repatriation. He emphasized that Kuwait Airways has implemented an integrated plan for returning travelers from abroad safely and efficiently, including recent flights from London via Dammam.

The CEO highlighted that residents can also book return flights through specified cities such as London, Manchester, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, Munich, Istanbul, Cairo, Amman, and Manila, provided they obtain a transit visa for Saudi Arabia. Kuwait Airways continues to monitor passenger traffic and maintain coordination with authorities to ensure smooth travel and return procedures.

Al-Shatti reaffirmed the airline’s commitment to upholding the highest security and safety standards to protect citizens, flight crews, and aircraft. He expressed gratitude to both Kuwaiti authorities and their counterparts in Saudi Arabia for their continuous cooperation and facilitation of travel arrangements.
