Kuwait airport officials bust drug smuggling attempt, arrest two
Two individuals attempted to smuggle marijuana from African countries, one using tea bags and the other hiding it in his pants.
The General Administration of Customs reported that Kuwait International Airport’s Airports Authority foiled an attempt by two individuals to smuggle marijuana on multiple flights from African countries, Al Jarida newspaper stated.
Customs inspectors grew suspicious of the first passenger and, upon searching his luggage, discovered tea bags laced with marijuana. The second passenger was found with bags of marijuana cleverly hidden in his pants. Both were referred to the relevant authorities.
