Kuwait Air Force receives seventh batch of Eurofighter Typhoon jets
The new arrivals come as part of ongoing efforts to enhance combat readiness and boost the operational efficiency of the Air Force.

Two Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft landed on Thursday at Salem Al-Sabah Air Base, marking the arrival of the seventh batch of the advanced fighter jets delivered to the Kuwaiti Air Force.
In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the General Staff of the Army said that the new arrivals come as part of ongoing efforts to enhance combat readiness and boost the operational efficiency of the Air Force.
The statement added that the delivery forms part of a broader strategic project aimed at developing the capabilities of the Kuwaiti Army and strengthening the nation’s overall defense system.
The commander of Salem Al-Sabah Air Base, who also serves as head of the joint steering committee for the Eurofighter program, attended the arrival ceremony alongside several Air Force officers.
Deliveries of the Eurofighter Typhoon fleet began in December 2021 under a comprehensive defense cooperation framework designed to modernize Kuwait’s air capabilities.
The addition of these aircraft represents a significant step forward in the Air Force’s readiness and operational capacity.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is among the world’s most advanced multi-role fighter jets, equipped with cutting-edge electronic warfare systems, exceptional maneuverability, rapid response capabilities, and high-speed performance that enables it to execute a wide range of missions with superior efficiency.
