Kuwait air defenses shoot down 5 hostile drones

The Kuwaiti Army Duty Force shot down five hostile drone in the areas under their jurisdiction, Spokesman of Kuwait National Guard (KNG) Brig. Jadaan Fadhel said on Sunday early morning.

The measure falls in the framework of constant efforts of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces to protect the national security and safeguard the vital sites against any potential threats, he said in a press release.

He affirmed the KNG, in collaboration with the police forces and Kuwait Fire Force, maintain the highest levels of preparedness in defense of the national security and stability.

Brig. Al-Jadaan advised everybody to abide by the safety instructions of the competent authorities and cooperate with the military and police forces in maintaining the national security and stability. – Kuna
