KNG: Kuwait air defenses shoot down hostile UAV

The Kuwaiti Army Duty Force shot down a hostile drone in the areas under their jurisdiction, Spokesman of Kuwait National Guard (KNG) Brig. Jadaan Fadhel said on Saturday morning.

The measure falls in the framework of continued efforts of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces to protect the national security and safeguard the vital sites against any external threats, he said in a press release.

He affirmed the KNG maintain the highest levels of preparedness in defense of the national security and stability against any potential threats. “The KNG are always ready to sacrifice themselves for the sake of the homeland and stand as one to protect the national security under our wise leadership,” he stressed.

Brig. Al-Jadaan advised everybody to abide by the safety instructions of the competent authorities and cooperate with the military and police forces in maintaining the stability of the country. – KUNA
