KFSD shuts down 161 facilities over safety violations

The Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) conducted an inspection campaign in the Shuwaikh Industrial 2 area, in cooperation with the Ministries of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Commerce and Industry, the Public Authority for Industry, and the Environment Public Authority.

The campaign targeted buildings and facilities which violated safety and fire prevention requirements and resulted in the administrative closure of 161 facilities, and the issuance of 221 notices and warnings to other establishments, due to their failure to meet the KFF requirements and the requirements of other authorities, reports Al-Jarida daily.
