Al-Roumi announced that the force is on the verge of a major organizational restructuring across all sectors, following the approval of a new organizational structure, reports Al-Rai daily.

As part of this development, 10 new fire stations are set to open soon, adding to the 50 currently operational. These stations will be equipped with state-of-the-art tools and technologies to handle a wide range of emergency scenarios.

Al-Roumi also highlighted progress in academic and professional training for both officers and staff, including the introduction of female specialist officers — a historic step that reflects the department’s commitment to diversity and expanded competencies.

He praised the ongoing efforts to raise community awareness and improve disaster preparedness, noting the adoption of a strategic, integrated, and decisive approach that works in coordination with other government bodies. This approach aims to build a modern, responsive firefighting system aligned with the country’s current and future needs.
