KFF, Marine Rescue teams locate and save two missing persons near Failaka Island

On Saturday evening, the Kuwait Fire Force, in coordination with the Marine Rescue Department, responded to a report of two missing individuals near the Failaka Island working swiftly using marine surveillance techniques and search operations to determine the missing persons location in the waters surrounding the island.
After a precise and coordinated effort, the missing persons were located and rescued. Both individuals were found in stable condition and were handed over to the competent authorities for further evaluation and necessary procedures, reports Al-Jarida daily.
The Kuwait Fire Force praised the rapid and professional response of the rescue teams, emphasizing the importance of readiness and coordination in maritime emergencies, particularly during holiday periods when water activity increases.
In the meantime, the authorities have reminded the public to follow safety guidelines when engaging in marine activities and to always ensure communication equipment is accessible in case of emergencies.
