KFF closes 70 shops in Al-Mubarakiya citing safety violations
Kuwait Fire Force, during an inspection campaign on Monday evening at the Al-Mubarakiya market administratively closed 70 establishments and commercial shops for violating safety regulations.
Led by Brigadier-General Muhammad Yusuf Ahmad, Director of Prevention for the Capital Governorate also issued warnings and notices to several other shops.
The fire department stated that the violations ranged from non-compliance with regulations to failure to meet essential safety requirements, highlighting the ongoing efforts to ensure public safety in commercial areas, reports Al-Rai daily.
