KFF chief inspects Al-Muhallab Marine Center to ensure safety of visitors

As part of efforts to boost preparedness during the summer season, Major-General Talal Al-Roumi, Chief of the Kuwait Fire Force, went on an inspection tour of the Al-Muhallab Marine Center to assess readiness in marine areas and coastal parks.
He was received by Brigadier General Badr Faleh Saif, Director of the Fire and Marine Rescue Department, who briefed him on current operations and safety protocols.
The inspection included a tour of one of the marine response centers located on an offshore island, where Al-Roumi reviewed emergency equipment, rescue teams’ capabilities, and logistical coordination for handling marine incidents, reports Al-Jarida daily.
Major General Al-Roumi praised the high level of preparedness across all marine centers. He stressed the importance of ensuring the safety of beachgoers and visitors to the park, especially during outdoor activity when temperatures increase.
The visit is part of the broader strategy of the KFF to enhance operational readiness and prevent marine emergencies during the summer, particularly as recreational activities increase along Kuwait’s coastlines.
