KFAS ignites public awareness with interactive renewable energy campaign

The Scientific Center, affiliated with the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), has launched the “Renewable Energy Month” under the theme “Energy for Tomorrow”, to raise public awareness about the importance of clean energy in building a sustainable future for Kuwait and the world.

Running through the end of August, the initiative features interactive exhibits, workshops, and hands-on summer camp experiences focusing on solar and wind energy, designed especially for families and children, reports Al-Jarida daily.

According to Mohammed Al-Sanousi, Deputy Director General for Visitor Experience, the event is part of the center’s broader mission to promote science education and environmental responsibility through entertaining and educational activities.

The initiative is supported by strategic partnerships with the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy and the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR). These collaborations aim to deliver credible scientific content, demonstrate practical renewable energy technologies, and engage the public in discussions around sustainability and environmental challenges.
