Key section of Fifth Ring road closed until Monday

PART announces road closures on Fahaheel Expressway, Fourth Ring Road

The Public Authority for Roads and Land Transport has reserved two lanes on the Fahaheel Expressway, heading towards Kuwait City, near the Millennium Hotel. This step is part of ongoing comprehensive maintenance efforts aimed at improving road efficiency and ensuring safety.

As part of the same project, the authority has closed side entrances leading to the Fourth Ring Road and Kuwait City. Drivers are urged to follow posted warning signs and use alternative routes as directed, reports Al-Jarida daily.

Additionally, PART announced a full closure of the Fourth Ring Road opposite Khalidiya, in the direction of Jahra from King Faisal Road. This closure will begin at dawn on Saturday and is expected to last 33 days to allow for major asphalt restoration work.

The Authority emphasized its coordination with relevant agencies to minimize disruptions and urged motorists to cooperate by adhering to diversion signs for their own safety and smoother traffic flow.
