Kenya congratulates Kuwait on the occasion of National & Liberation days
It gives me pleasure to extend my hearty congratulations and to join my Kuwait friends and indeed all the good people of this wonderful country in the celebrations of the 63rd anniversary of your National Day and the 33rd anniversary of Liberation Day.
The joy and happiness that engulfs the nation at this period is infectious! It speaks of the pride that you take in the journey that you have traveled as a nation. I salute you for your resilience and determination as a people and the foresight of the leadership of the country; important factors that have contributed to the growth of Kuwait into a vibrant modern state and a respectable country among the community of nations. A country that cherishes peace and peaceful coexistence and in fact earned international recognition as an anchor state for peace and global solidarity. Your generosity and empathy which is manifested in the enormous humanitarian action all over the world where your kind support is having a real impact on the lives of the needy and vulnerable in society.
In this regard, I wish to take this opportunity to convey my warmest congratulations and best wishes to the top leadership of this great country led by His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait, and His Highness Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister. I wish them good health and personal wellbeing and success as they undertake their noble tasks to steer the country to greater prosperity.
In the days ahead, Kenya looks forward to continuing to build closer cooperative relations with Kuwait. I am particularly happy to note that bilateral relations between our two countries are characterized by immense goodwill and bright prospects, including the rapidly growing people-to-people ties. Our two governments also continue to support and facilitate the business and private sectors to discover and harness new opportunities in the two countries. I am committed to delivering progress on these commercial linkages to become one of the defining features of the Kenya-Kuwait bilateral relationship.
Once again from me and my team at the embassy we say congratulations! Mabruk!
