Kenya Congratulates Kuwait on National and Liberation Days

On behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya and the Kenyan Community in Kuwait, and on my own behalf, I have the distinct honour and privilege to convey our warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and to the Government and the brotherly people of the State of Kuwait on the auspicious occasion of the 65th National Day and the 35th Liberation Day.
These two historic milestones represent the resilience, unity, and unwavering spirit of the Kuwaiti people. As Kuwait celebrates 65 years of sovereign independence and 35 years since its glorious liberation, we salute the visionary leadership that has transformed this nation into a global symbol of peace, humanitarianism, and economic prosperity.
Kenya and Kuwait share a bond of friendship that dates back decades, rooted in mutual respect and a common vision for progress. We remain deeply grateful for Kuwait’s enduring partnership, particularly through the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, which has played a transformative role in Kenya’s infrastructure, health, and education sectors.
Furthermore, I wish to acknowledge the vibrant Kenyan diaspora living and working in Kuwait. They serve as a “living bridge” between our two nations, contributing to Kuwait’s thriving economy while strengthening our cultural ties.
As we join in these celebrations, I reaffirm Kenya’s commitment to deepening our bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, and labour mobility for the mutual benefit of our peoples.
May the State of Kuwait continue to enjoy peace, stability, and boundless prosperity under the wise guidance of its leadership.
Happy National and Liberation Day!
H.E. Halima Mohamud
Ambassador of Kenya
