KCICAI hosts blood donation drive to save lives in Kuwait

The Kuwait Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (KCICAI) successfully hosted a blood donation drive at the Kuwait Central Blood Bank in Jabriya. This initiative reflects KCICAI’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its goal of making a significant impact on the lives of those in need.
Blood donation is a selfless act that can save up to three lives with just one donation. Recognizing the importance of this noble cause, KCICAI members, along with their families and friends, came together to support the health and well-being of the community.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from KCICAI members, students pursuing chartered accountancy in Kuwait, and various other supporters.
The event began with a warm welcome from CA Aditya, Chairperson of KCICAI. In his address, CA Adityaemphasized the critical role of blood donation in saving lives and highlighted KCICAI’s dedication to giving back to the community. He also expressed gratitude to the participants, noting that their contributions would significantly impact those in need of life-saving blood transfusions.
A special acknowledgment was given to the team from BDK for their unwavering support throughout the event, which was instrumental in ensuring its success. Their collaboration with the KCICAI team helped create a seamless and impactful experience for all involved.
Following the welcome address, participants proceeded to donate blood, guided by the professional staff of the Kuwait Central Blood Bank. The event was well-organized, ensuring that all donors had a comfortable and safe experience. The blood bank staff also provided valuable information about the benefits of regular blood donation and its role in maintaining a stable blood supply for emergencies and medical procedures.
Gratitude was also extended to CA Jatin, CA Kunal, and all other committee members who played a crucial role in organizing the event. The support and presence of senior members such as CA Sanjiv Pabrai, CA Jagdish Joshi, CA M.S. Mathew, and CA Sai Devata were acknowledged, further strengthening the chapter’s sense of community and commitment to this noble cause.
