KCICAI Annual Chess Tournament 2024 concludes successfully

The Kuwait Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (KCICAI) is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its Online Annual Chess Tournament 2024 for its members and families. The event brought together Chess enthusiasts from across various age groups to compete in a series of matches, that showcased strategic brilliance and sportsmanship.

From the outset, the tournament promised an engaging and competitive experience. The online format allowed players from diverse backgrounds and different age groups to compete on a unified platform.

The tournament was meticulously organized to ensure a seamless experience for all participants and was supervised by an independent professional arbiter and a full-time chess coach Mr. Anthony Pelayo, from Bahrain. The online platform used for the event was robust offering a range of features that replicated the traditional chess tournament experience.

The competitive spirit was palpable throughout the tournament, as every participant fought fiercely for victory till the last minute of each & every game. The children, ranging in age from 7 years old, displayed remarkable composure and concentration as they navigated through the intricacies of the game.

Chess is a game that mirrors the strategic thinking and analytical skills that professionals in the finance and accounting sectors require. The success of KCICAI Annual Chess Tournament 2024 is a collective achievement under the leadership of Chairperson of KCICAI, CA Aditya Dhanuka and is a testament to the Chapters commitment to nurturing intellectual growth and camaraderie within the community.
