
Kuwait Cricket bid farewell to Kuwait National Team Head Coach Qasim Ali, marking the conclusion of his successful two-year tenure with the organization.
On behalf of the KCC Board, a special farewell ceremony was held at the Sulaibiya Cricket Ground, attended by senior KCC officials led by Mr. Sajid Ashraf, along with the newly appointed General Manager – High Performance & Technical, Mr. Kabir Khan, in the presence of national men’s and women’s players.
Addressing the gathering during a heartfelt farewell, Mr. Sajid Ashraf said:
“Qasim Ali played a valuable role in strengthening the national men’s team setup and helped Kuwait improve its ICC Men’s T20I ranking from 27th to 24th. His tenure was marked by a strong focus on fitness, discipline, enhanced high-performance standards, and increased penetration of school development programs for girls through CRIIIO”.
Qasim Ali’s contribution has been instrumental in laying a solid foundation for the future of Kuwait National Men’s team and as he now moves on to pursue new personal and professional opportunities, the entire KCC family extends its sincere gratitude and best wishes for his future endeavors.
