Kalyankari Yuva Samaj kuwait win “Shahid Lakhan Thapa Magar Memorial Gold Cup

The fourth edition of the “First Martyr Lakhan Thapa Magar Smriti Running Shield Gold Cup Inter-Nepali Volleyball Tournament-2024” organized by the Nepal Magar Association, Kuwait branch, concluded grandly at the volleyball stadium of Abu Halifa, Kuwait (Kuwait Technical College).
A total of thirteen competitive Nepali teams participated enthusiastically in the tournament, showcased their skills and sportsmanship. Ultimately, the Welfare Nepali Youth Society Kuwait clinched the prestigious Gold Cup title, demonstrating exceptional performance throughout the competition. Lumbini Samaj Kuwait secured the runner-up position, adding to the thrill of the finals.
The success of the event was made possible through the generous support of BEC Exchange / City Express Exchange Kuwait, the main sponsor, whose contributions were pivotal in ensuring the tournament’s smooth execution. Additionally, various Nepali associations, organizations, social workers, and individual donors, alongside Nepali restaurants, played crucial roles by providing financial backing and logistical support.
The tournament not only celebrated sportsmanship and camaraderie among the Nepali community in Kuwait but also highlighted the spirit of unity and cooperation among participants and sponsors alike. It served as a vibrant platform for promoting cultural exchange and fostering community bonds within the Nepali diaspora in Kuwait.
