Justice Ministry reports 448 properties worth 359 million dinars traded during July

The statistics of the real estate registration and documentation department at the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) showed the circulation of contracts of 448 properties in the country with a total value of 359.07 million dinars (about USD 1.2 billion) during the month of July.

The statistics published on the website of the MOJ showed that private real estate contracts ranked at the top with 321 properties worth 153.02 million dinars (about USD 445.9 million) followed by the investment property contracts for 105 properties worth 105.62 million dinars (about USD 348.4 million).

It stated that the trading of real estate contracts for the commercial sector amounted to 11 properties worth 65.9 million dinars (about USD 217.4 million), in addition to the registration of five contracts in the artisanal property worth 6.1 million dinars (about USD 20 million) and three properties in the exhibition sector worth 28 million dinars (about USD 92 million).

It indicated that a single property was traded last July in the warehouse sector worth 2.5 million dinars (about USD 8.2 million) and two properties on the coastal strip worth 15.6 million dinars (about USD 51.4 million).

Regarding the distribution of real estate contracts trading to the governorates, statistics showed that Al Ahmadi Governorate lead with the number of contracts registered, with 156 contracts, followed by Hawally Governorate with 103 contracts, then Mubarak Al Kabeer Governorate with 67 contracts, Al Farwaniya with 49 contracts, the capital with 38 contracts, and finally Al Jahra Governorate with 35 contracts.
