Justice Ministry reported, 127 properties worth 68 million dinars traded last week
The Ministry of Justice’s, Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department issued statistics that showed, 127 real estate contracts were traded in the country with a total value of about 68 million dinars during the past week.
Elaborating further, statistics published on the Ministry’s website about last week’s trading, between October 13 and 17, showed that private real estate contracts came in first; with 92 properties worth 33.7 million dinars.
The report stated that investment in “Real Estate Contracts” came second with 22 properties that were worth 14.7 million dinars; then “Commercial” through 11 contracts worth 16 million dinars, and finally “Warehouses” through 2 properties worth 3.4 million dinars.
Additionally, the statistics showed, according to the geographical distribution; 8 private real estate contracts, 2 investment real estate contracts, and 9 commercial contracts were traded in the Capital Governorate.
Similarly, 13 private real estate and 3 investment properties were traded in Hawalli Governorate, while 10 private real estate and 6 investment properties were traded in Farwaniya.
Furthermore, The Justice Ministry stated that Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate witnessed the trading of 9 contracts in private real estate and 2 investment contracts.
Whereas, the Ahmadi Governorate witnessed the largest number in terms of trading through 38 private contracts, 9 contracts in investment real estate and one commercial contract.
On the other hand, the Jahra Governorate’s trading was limited to 14 contracts in private real estate and one commercial contract.
