The Jordanian air defense systems have successfully intercepted four missiles upon intruding into the Kingdom’s airspace on Monday morning.
The missiles were fired from Iran, said an insider at the General Staff of Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army.
The interceptions were carried out very efficiently and safely as per the operational procedures to protect the sovereignty and stability of the Kingdom without causing any human or material damage, the source affirmed.
The engineering corps units dealt with the shrapnel that fell in some areas according to regular technical procedures.
Reaffirming resolve to protect the Kingdom’s security and stability, the military sources urged the citizens to rely on official outlets for news and avoid circulating misinformation or rumors.
