Jollibee, Philippines top global franchise opens 8th outlet in Kuwait

Jollibee, popular for its hamburger, fried chicken, spaghetti and other Filipino delicacies, opened its 8th outlet in Kuwait in Khiran Mall Friday morning. The opening was officiated by Mr. Yacoub Al Hajery, Kuwait’s franchiser of the brand. Present in the occasion were Ariel de la Cruz, Operations Manager, Andrea Sta. Maria, Marketing Manager and other management staff.

Jollibee in Kuwait opened its first branch in Kuwait City in 2012 and since then has opened other outlets in Farwaniya, Fahahell, Marina Mall, Old Souq , Qurain and Jahra. Old Souq remains top seller due to the location of its outlet as most preferred by not only Filipinos but other nationals to visit. Jollibee opened in the Philippines in 1978 and its its first overseas outlet in Brunei Darussalam in 1987. Among its most loved items include; Yumburger, Spaghetti, Chicken Joy, Burger Steak, Palabok (Philippine’s delicacy) and recently launched in Kuwait its newest items, Peach Mango Pie and Chicken Sandwich.

“It has been very difficult for us who work in the area to come to other locations of Jollibee but I will now have the chance to purchase my favorite meals with the opening of its branch here in Khiran” commented Luisito Meneses, worker in Gulf Company in Khiran. Rajesh, Manager of a food chain added that his staff brought back a bucket of Jollibee chicken once and since then he never failed to request and purchase from his Filipino staff every time they go over to Salmiyah. “Jollibee’s products’ taste typically embody global preference and caters to all nationalities and with the opening of its outlet here in Khiran will give us the chance to visit the place more and enjoy its food” added Rajesh.

“I hope everyone will continue to patronize our products and we can only assure then of high quality and adhere to our diners’ preference to provide the best of what Jollibee can offer. We will be launching more new savory and tasteful items this year” added De La Cruz.
