‘Joint Programming Director’ announces digital platform broadcasting with Gulf ministries

The Director General of the Joint Program Production Institution of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Fahad, stressed today, Wednesday, 15th January, the importance of focusing on the content of media materials to strengthen Arab identity and protect cultural heritage and moral values.
Al-Fahad during his participation in the 44th General Assembly meeting of the Arab States Broadcasting Union in Tunisia indicated that the organization’s programs will soon be broadcast on Gulf digital platforms in collaboration with the Gulf ministries of information.
To keep pace with rapid technological developments in the media, Al-Fahad emphasized multi-platform broadcasting and the need to anticipate the future of media through research and studies to produce professional and responsible content.
Al-Fahad expressed his aspiration to expand the broadcast of the Foundation’s programs to include Arab digital platforms after their broadcast on Gulf platforms is completed, aiming for the Foundation to become a Gulf-Arab window to the world, alongside its awareness-raising and educational role for the Gulf and Arab community.
At the end of his visit, Al-Fahad met with the Director General of the Arab States Broadcasting Union, Eng. Abdul Rahim Suleiman, where they exchanged views on matters of mutual interest between the two sides.
