Jobless man seized with hashish, Lyrica pills

The Directorate-General for Drug Control has taken into custody an expatriate for possessing 7 kilograms of narcotics and a quantity of Lyrica capsules.
The Al-Anba daily quoting a security source, said the arrest followed intelligence about a jobless person living illegally in the country and trafficking in drugs.
The suspect was allegedly arrested in the vicinity of a hotel. When police searched the man, they found on his person two kilograms of hashish and another 5 kilograms of hashish and Lyrica capsules at his residence.
When questioned, the suspect admitted to trafficking drugs and psychoactive substances targeting young people and teenagers. The suspect and the seized items were referred to the relevant authorities for further action.
