Jahra Traffic patrols issue over 120 violations in overnight campaign

In a concerted effort to bolster road safety and curb violations, Jahra traffic patrols conducted an extensive traffic campaign last night covering several areas, including Saad Al-Abdullah, Taima, Al-Naeem, and adjacent external roads.
According to security sources, the campaign resulted in the issuance of 129 traffic citations, including multiple speeding violations detected through radar surveillance. Additionally, nine minors were caught driving without licenses, and their cases have been referred to the competent authorities for legal action.
A security source told Al-Anba that these operations are part of ongoing nationwide efforts to enhance traffic discipline. Traffic patrols are actively deployed across all regions of the country around the clock, aiming to apprehend violators and ensure consistent enforcement of traffic laws.
The campaigns are designed to address a broad range of infractions, including excessive speeding, mobile phone use while driving, failure to wear seat belts, improper parking, and unsafe overtaking. The source emphasized that the ultimate goal is to safeguard all road users and reduce traffic-related accidents through strict and continuous enforcement.
