Jahra Governorate Committee keeps three proposals on the table

The Jahra Governorate Committee in the Municipal Council retained the proposal by members Abdul Latif Al-Daei, Abdullah Al-Enezi, Alia Al-Farsi, and Sharifa Al-Shalfan to establish a camping area in northern Kuwait on its agenda.

During its meeting on Sunday, the committee also retained the request from the General Authority for Roads and Land Transport regarding the allocation of sites for open rainwater collection basins, open water channels, underground water connections, earth berms, and rainwater drainage paths around the Nawaf Al-Ahmad housing area.

It also retained on its agenda the proposal from member Abdullah Al-Anzi regarding the development of a service road opposite the Sulaibikhat area, Block 2, Gamal Abdel Nasser Street.

The committee deferred the queries from member Abdullah Al-Anazi regarding the wastewater purification station in the Al-Mutlaa Housing Project and its complementary works, as well as those from the Vice President of the Municipal Council regarding the Kabd Road extending from the Sulaibiya Bridge to Jawakhir Kabd.

In another context, the joint committee comprising the technical, legal, and financial committees of the Municipal Council completed discussions on the amendments proposed by the municipal executive branch to the building regulations and their accompanying schedules.

After yesterday’s committee meeting, Chairman Dr. Hassan Kamal stated that the next meeting will focus on discussing schedules related to investment and commercial housing. This is especially pertinent as new discussions have arisen regarding the private housing schedule.
