Jahra Governor honors traffic department personnel

As part of efforts to promote appreciation for distinguished service, Jahra Governor Hamad Al-Habshi honored a select group of leaders, officers, and personnel from the General Traffic Department at the Jahra Traffic Department.
The recognition came in acknowledgment of their outstanding contributions to enhancing traffic discipline, regulating vehicle flow, and alleviating congestion across the governorate’s roads and streets.
Speaking during the ceremony on Tuesday, Governor Al-Habshi expressed deep gratitude to the Ministry of Interior for its constructive cooperation, praising the pivotal role of the Traffic Department in ensuring road safety and projecting a positive, organized image of Jahra Governorate.

In a separate meeting at the governorate’s headquarters, the Governor met with researcher Fahd Al-Jarba, official in charge of the Red Palace, Abeer Al-Jafira, and Fahd Al-Rish to discuss strategies for preserving and developing the Red Palace.
Discussions focused on securing the necessary resources to maintain and enhance the site, ensuring it remains a prominent historical and tourist landmark that reflects Jahra’s rich cultural and architectural heritage.
Al-Habshi reaffirmed the governorate’s full support for these preservation efforts, stressing the importance of maintaining the Red Palace as a vital part of Kuwait’s national identity and as a unique cultural and tourist attraction.
