Jaber Hospital launches advanced facial and jaw fracture surgeries using 3d technology

The Ministry of Health announced that Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital has started receiving and treating facial and jaw fracture cases as part of its advanced surgical services, marking a new step toward providing integrated, world-class care in this vital specialty.
The ministry explained that this initiative reflects the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to expand specialized and highly precise medical services across public hospitals, ensuring that patients have access to advanced surgical care in facilities equipped with the latest technologies.
It added that the hospital’s medical team has successfully performed two complex surgeries to reconstruct and repair facial and jaw bones using 3D virtual planning technology—a cutting-edge approach that enhances surgical precision and improves both functional and aesthetic outcomes for patients.
The team comprises a distinguished group of national specialists in maxillofacial surgery, led by Consultant Dr. Anwar Ramadan, Head of Maxillofacial Surgery Departments; Consultant Dr. Ali Al-Sabti, Head of Maxillofacial Surgery at Jaber Specialized Dental Center and Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital; Consultant Dr. Ahmed Dashti, Head of Maxillofacial Surgery at Al-Amiri Specialized Dental Center and Al-Amiri Hospital; and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist Dr. Khansaa Khalil.
The Ministry of Health emphasized that this achievement underscores its commitment to empowering national medical professionals and equipping them with the latest technical and surgical innovations—enhancing Kuwait’s standing in the field of specialized medicine and reinforcing the health system’s dedication to providing safe, high-quality care that elevates both patient experience and healthcare standards in the country.
