Iraq arrests three Kuwaiti hunters for violating regulations in Muthanna Desert

The Iraqi Border Forces Command affiliated to the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, has announced the arrest of three Kuwaiti hunters in the Muthanna Governorate desert.
The hunters were caught while riding in a civilian vehicle and the authorities seized from them three falcons used for hunting.
According to the ministry’s statement, preliminary investigations revealed that the hunters had violated Iraqi hunting regulations and entry laws governing the activities of foreign hunters within the country’s borders, reports Al-Rai daily.
The ministry confirmed that legal procedures were taken in accordance with applicable laws, and the individuals were referred to the competent authorities to complete the investigation.
