Investigations launched for a shockingly heinous crime in Jahra

In a shockingly heinous and unusual crime, the Ministry of Interior launched intensive investigations after a citizen turned in and confessed to killing an Asian girl two months ago, and burying her body in the garden of his house in Jahra.

In details shared with Al-Qabas by a security source, security personnel, detectives, and forensic experts were dispatched to the crime scene. Following the citizen’s directions, they excavated the victim’s body, which had decomposed. The body was then transferred to forensic medicine to determine the time and cause of death.

The source revealed that the citizen confessed to detectives that he had accidentally struck the Asian girl during a quarrel and personal differences between them. After hitting her, she fainted, and he left her for a while. When he returned, he found her dead and decided to bury her in the garden of his house to keep the crime a secret.

According to the source, the citizen confirmed during the investigation that the crime had occurred two months ago. However, his conscience eventually troubled him, leading him to turn himself in to the Ministry of Interior and confess to the crime.

The source pointed out that investigations are ongoing with the citizen to determine the circumstances and motives behind the crime, in preparation for his referral to the Public Prosecution.

This crime marks the third of its kind in just three days, with security and criminal investigations examining three separate killings.

The first incident involved the death of an infant last Thursday, allegedly killed by a Filipino maid who placed him in a washing machine. The second occurred on Friday, when a citizen was fatally shot by his friend. The third involved the Filipina woman, whose death the citizen confessed to, revealing he had killed her and buried her body.
