Interior Ministry Urges Public to Avoid Outdoor Activities, Including gergean Celebrations

The Ministry of Interior announced a temporary ban on fishing trips and recreational boats heading out to sea until further notice, as a precautionary measure aimed at safeguarding lives and preventing potential risks amid the current circumstances facing the country and the region.

In a press statement issued on Sunday, the Ministry also called on desert campers to postpone their trips during this period until conditions stabilize, emphasizing the importance of ensuring their safety and that of their families.

The Ministry further urged the public to avoid holding or organizing events outside the home, including gergean celebrations.

It stressed that these measures are precautionary and temporary, noting that the relevant authorities are closely monitoring developments. The public was urged to comply with official instructions and follow updates through the country’s official sources.
