“Interior Ministry” unveils robust security for ‘Kuwait’s National and Liberation Day’ celebrations

The Director of the Public Security Operations Department at the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Ali Al-Astad, has announced that a comprehensive security plan is in place for the upcoming National Day and Liberation Day celebrations in Kuwait.
The plan includes a wide-scale security presence across all governorates of the country, ensuring the safety and smooth running of the events. This operation will be carried out under the supervision of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, with full coordination between relevant government authorities.
In a televised interview on Al-Akhbar channel on Tuesday, Brigadier Ali Al-Astad provided further details on the security measures for the National Day and Liberation Day celebrations.
Al-Astad revealed that 23 fixed and strategic security points would be established at key locations, including Arabian Gulf Street near the Kuwait Towers, the Scientific Center, and the Bnaider and Al-Julai’a areas. Additional sub-points will be set up at venues expecting large crowds, ensuring effective deployment and efficient movement of security forces.
Furthermore, Al-Astad emphasized the continuation of patrols along the celebration routes and the ongoing security presence in all residential areas. He reassured the public that, while the focus is on the national celebrations, the safety and needs of residential areas will not be overlooked.
Al-Astad emphasized the importance of coordination with relevant authorities, including the Ministry of Health’s ambulance services, the General Fire Force, and the Municipality. This collaboration is designed to ensure a rapid and efficient response to any reports or emergencies that may occur during the celebrations.
