Interior Ministry officer caught with drugs and firearm after Jahra car accident
The Ministry of Interior emphasized no one is above the law, reaffirming its commitment to enforcing the law fairly and firmly to preserve the integrity of the security establishment and maintain public safety and stability.

The Jahra Governorate Rescue Department arrested a member of the Ministry of Interior after finding suspected narcotics, a firearm, and ammunition in his possession.
The arrest happened wnen General Traffic Department officers responded to a traffic collision in which one person was injured in the Al-Naeem area, the ministry said in a statement.
Upon arrival, security personnel noticed that one of the persons involved in the accident appeared to be in an abnormal condition.
After verifying his identity, they found he was an employee of the Ministry of Interior following which a precautionary search of his vehicle uncovered pills suspected to be Lyrica, a piece of hashish, drug-use tools, a 9mm firearm, bullets, a magazine, and assorted ammunition.
The suspect and his vehicle were referred to the Naeem Police Station and later to the General Department for Drug Control for further investigation.
