“Interior Ministry” confirms arrest of perpetrator for deliberately burning vehicle in Andalusia

The Public Security Sector, represented by the Capital Governorate Security Directorate, arrested a person who committed the crime of deliberately burning a vehicle in the Andalusia area, just 15 minutes after the incident occurred.

The details of the incident go back to when the capital’s support patrols were carrying out an inspection mission in the Granada area, wherein a parked vehicle was spotted without license plates.

This came about while checking the vehicle owner’s data; astonishingly a highly flammable material like gasoline was found inside the vehicle, which was in addition to knives and an electric stun gun.

On a quicker decision, immediately, the operations room was contacted, and it was found that a report of a vehicle fire had been received 15 minutes earlier.

Moreover, it was also noticed that the perpetrator was the one who had burned the vehicle, and accordingly he was referred along with the seized items, to competent authorities for legal action against him.

Considering people’s safety and security as a primary focus, this step was initiated, as an effort from the Capital Governorate Security Directorate, meant to intensify security deployment and distribute checkpoints in various areas to arrest violators and outlaws, enhance security and maintain the stability of the country.
