Interior Minister suspends unauthorized ceremony in Salmiya
Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, instructed authorities to remove attendees and detain all workers and organizers at the site.

• A team of detectives was deployed to monitor the site in Salmiya before the event began and found that the venue had been prepared and decorated for the concert, with musical equipment (DJ) and loudspeakers.
Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, the Ministry of Interior announced that First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, ordered the suspension of an unauthorized event in Salmiya, instructing authorities to remove attendees and detain all workers and organizers at the site, Al Qabas newspaper reported.
The ministry said in a statement, “The incident details reveal that the Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations – Department of Protection of Public Morals and Combating Trafficking in Persons, received information about the establishment of an unauthorized games and entertainment center hosting a concert in the Salmiya areaon Wednesday evening. Accordingly, a team of detectives was deployed to monitor the site before the event began. It was found that the venue had been prepared and decorated for the concert, with musical equipment (DJ) and loudspeakers.”
The statement added, “When Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousefarrived at the site, he issued orders to halt the event and detain the workers, while ensuring all necessary legal measures were taken.”
