Interim board appointed for Red Crescent Society for one-year term
The board will be chaired by Khaled Mohammed Al-Magham and will include members Hamoud Hamad Al-Sana’a, Youssef Abdullah Al-Zaban, Fahad Ahmed Al-Mandel, and Saud Abdulrahman Al-Mukhaizeem.
• The decision by the Ministry of Social Affairs requires the outgoing Board of Directors of the Red Crescent Society to transfer the headquarters, funds, and all relevant documents to the Interim Board within three days of the decision’s issuance.
Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, has appointed an interim board of directors for the Red Crescent Society for a renewable year. The board will be chaired by Khaled Mohammed Al-Magham and will include members Hamoud Hamad Al-Sana’a, Youssef Abdullah Al-Zaban, Fahad Ahmed Al-Mandel, and Saud Abdulrahman Al-Mukhaizeem, according to Al Rai newspaper.
The decision stipulated that the former Board of Directors of the association, whose term has expired, shall hand over the headquarters, funds, and all documents related to the association to the Interim Board of Directors under official minutes within three days from the date of issuance of the decision.
It pointed out in Article 3 that the Interim Board of Directors shall assume all the competencies and powers of the Board of Directors as stipulated in Law No. 24 of 1962 and the Articles of association.
Article 4 states that the Interim Board of Directors shall examine the association’s budget, conduct a documentary review of its books and records, verify the existence of any violations, and take the necessary measures to ensure the preservation of the association’s funds.
