Indonesia congratulates Kuwait on the occasion of National & Liberation days

It gives me great pleasure, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, to convey to His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah, Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Foreign Minister His Excellency Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Yahya, as well as to the Government and people of the State of Kuwait, my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the auspicious occasion of the 64th anniversary of National Day and the 34th anniversary of Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait.
I am pleased to note that under the leadership of Amir Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, development in Kuwait, particularly in infrastructure, over the past year has been very rapid. This achievement is also accompanied by various economic, political and social reforms implemented to create a more advanced Kuwait within the framework of New Kuwait 2035.
Kuwait has also continued to play a significant role both in the region and on the international stage, including in humanitarian assistance to countries affected by disasters and wars. The assistance provided through the air bridge has been greatly felt by the people in crisis-affected countries. Kuwait has successfully hosted the 45th GCC Summit and held The Dushanbe Process High-Level Conference on “Strengthening International Counter-Terrorism and Building Agile Border Security Mechanisms – The Kuwait Process.”
On 28 February 2025, diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Kuwait will reach their 57th year of establishment. This long-standing relationship between the two countries has been marked by strong cooperation in all sectors, both bilaterally and internationally, for the benefit of the governments and people of both countries, as well as for the global community. While there is still a need to continue improving by exploring all available resources and opportunities in both countries, I am confident that in the coming years, Indonesia and Kuwait will continue to explore new areas of cooperation for mutual benefit. This will further reinforce the strong ties of friendship that Indonesia and Kuwait already enjoy. On this special occasion, I would also like to extend my best wishes and congratulations to the Amir His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, and to all my Kuwaiti friends who will observe the Ramadan fast in 1446 H. May God Almighty grant us all health and peace. Ramadan Kareem.
